Grandale place
Grandale Place is located in the southern section of Durham, NC. The first house in Grandale Place was built in 2000 and today there are 136 family homes. Grandale Place is surrounded by undeveloped greenspace that greets residents at the community's entrance. A significant number of mature hardwood trees can be seen throughout the community. The tree-lined streets and sidewalks encourage walking and biking. There is a playground as well as waste stations for dog walkers.
The homeowners association is overseen by a 5-member board and its purpose is to maintain the common areas as well as implement the covenants, by-laws and regulations. A social committee organizes special neighborhood events throughout the year including ice cream socials and a National Night Out celebration. An architectural board ensures that the community continues to have a harmonious and quality environment. There is a strong neighborhood watch team and a commitment to positively contribute to the Durham community. Homeowners are encouraged to get involved with the Grandale Place Homeowners Association by joining a committee or board or serving as a block captain. Homeowners can register to receive online announcements and newsletters as well as set up an account to pay annual dues online. Those with questions or concerns can obtain support by contacting Grandale Place's management company, Community Association Services, Inc at www.casanc.com.
